Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman, Orlando Bloom, Penelope Cruz, Robin Williams, Charlize Theron, Leonardo DiCaprio, Julie Delpy and Salma Hayek will be riding on Hybrid cars to Oscars to show their solidarity towards environmental friendly cars and would show their concerns to world pollution posed by car exhaust under Global Green’s 3rd annual “Red Carpet-Green Cars” campaign.

As Oscars will be watched all over the world, it gives a perfect platform to Global Green organization to promote energy independence, fight global warming for protecting the environment. Orlando Bloom, actor, and Oscar presenter at this year’s Academy Awards said, “Hybrid cars help us conserve natural resources and preserve the planet. Choosing a hybrid is something everyone can do today to help reduce our negative impact on the environment”.

Traditionally stars use limos for Oscars but it is good that they are using this medium to highlight the importance of hybrid cars, which decreases the dependence on fossil fuels and reduces air pollution.
